The 36th China Fur & Leather Products Fair, held jointly by China TUHSU and Sunry Advertising and Exhibition Co., Ltd. on Jan 12-15 of 2010, dropped its curtain in Beijing, China National Convention Center.

Along with the development of China’s fur industry in recent years, China Fur & Leather Products Fair has experienced a history of 36 years since its birth in 1975, and was relocated to Beijing National Conference Center in 2010 as the total exhibition area raised from 25000 m2 of last year to 28000 m2. There were over 300 companies attended this year’s Fair including famous international fur and leather auction houses and companies from Russia, Canada, Finland, Denmark and Hong Kong, as well as those powerful domestic ones from Tong Xiang, Su Ning and Yu Yao, etc. Exhibition area, service level and surrounding environment of the Fair have been improved greatly. What’s more, the 4-day Fair accepted altogether 11736 visitors. Today, China Fur & Leather Products Fair has developed to be one of the top 3 fur fairs in the world as an important vane of global fur industry.

The 36th China Fur & Leather Products Fair occupied 6 exhibition halls in first floor and B1 of Beijing National Conference Center for fur materials, accessories, machinery equipments, cashmere products, fur and leather clothes, dye and chemicals, adminicles and media respectively. Increase of exhibition area will promote overall demonstrations of all links of fur industry and will explain the special orientation of the Fair famous in global fur industry.

As this Fair is the first one after moving to Beijing National Convention Center, organizing committee organized rich acitivities except continuing efforts to absorb buyers from overseas and encourage orders including China International Fur Industry Forum, Design Saloon, NAFA Cup the Sixth China International Youth Fur Fashion Design Competition and fantasy Opening Night evening named Dream.

The China International Fur Industry Forum in theme of Green Vision and Science of Future has invited representatives of professional organizations from all over the world such as Ms. Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Canada; Mr. Andreas Lenhart, Chairman of International Fur Trade Federation; Mr.Pertti Fallenius, CEO of Finnish Fur Sales and Mr. Wang Ye, General Secretary of China Fur & Leather Products Fair gave their speeches on trends and markets of global fur industry. In addition, representative from GE, one of top 500 companies, was invited and delivered speech on green energy development and utilization.

What’s more, the Opening Night in Beijing National Convention Center was participated by Beijing Yuan Long Fur & Leather Co., Ltd., Hua Si Agricultrue Dvelopment Co., Ltd., Yin Shan Fur & Leather Co., Ltd., Beijing Sunry Longtai Fur MFG Co., Ltd.,

NAFA(North American Fur Association) and Canadian Seal Marketing Group.

This year, the organizing committee has won recognition of both exhibitors and visitors by further improving service quality, striving to realize the idea of New Dream New Family promoted by the Fair.
